O'Keeffe's provides jobs for these people through organizations such as CORIL (Central Oregon Resources for Independent Living) and the Opportunity Foundation. For high school students with special needs we provide employment and job skills training. The remarkable individuals who work with O'Keeffe's are motivated, hard-working, and determined to make a living. By supplying jobs to people with disabilities, we hope our company can assist them in their efforts to develop skills and live more independently.

Humanity. O'Keeffe's Company believes in the integrity of every man, woman and child and therefore supports organizations that are committed to their welfare:

The Red Cross. We donate our products to the organization to distribute where they're needed most, such as to victims of Hurricane Katrina. Local and National Firefighters and Wild-Land Fire Teams. We donate to firefighters near and far, from local groups to those in the NYFD following the 9/11 attacks. Doctors Without Borders. More than 500 lbs. of O'Keeffe's Working Hands was donated to disadvantaged Guatemalans in 2006. HELPS International. Tara O'Keeffe traveled with Cascade Medical Team to Guatemala to provide medical treatments and care to underserved populations. More than 3,000 jars of O'Keeffe's Working Hands have been donated so far. Habitat for Humanity. Members of O'Keeffe's donate supplies and help to build houses for our local community. United State Armed Forces. We donate to troops at home and abroad as a way of showing our appreciation for their sacrifices.

Education. O'Keeffe's Company recognizes how vital education is to the success of our youth and future generations. Therefore, we support the rights and opportunities of young people. In addition to supporting local schools and youth programs, O'Keeffe's Company has established a scholarship program to provide college funds for outstanding students. Tara O'Keeffe, Founder/President, enjoys sharing her knowledge and wisdom with students, and regularly speaks on college campuses throughout the state. As an active alumnus of Oregon State University, Tara is currently working with the Entrepreneurial Program in the School of Business.

Environment. There is a critical need for a universal effort to conserve the environment. O'Keeffe's Company products are completely non-toxic and safe for people, animals, and the planet. We employ sustainable practices and utilize renewable resources such as recycled cardboard and twice-recycled corn-based shrink bands.
